The ABS sensors are variable reluctance, and require no power to operate. What I would do is back-pin the connectors at the ABS unit and have a helper spin one of the rear wheels (for a speedo/odo, it's best to have your pulses come from an *undriven* wheel). Once you find a pulse, you've got your source. Now, whether splitting it off to your speedo is an issue, I don't know...
