Brake Master Cyl seal kit, bleed, and clicking noise Posted by CBS [Email] (#969) [Profile/Gallery] (more from CBS) on Sat, 18 Aug 2007 19:49:14 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Finally got the seals oriented in the correct position. Bled all four brakes, and then re-bled the left rear (with a surprising amount of bubbles in the line!). I still don't trust the seals...as I have found the peddle to be soft still. Question: there is a farely loud clicking noise each time you press the brake peddle hard. It seems to be coming from the "vacuum juction valve (my term)" where three vacuum lines come together on top of the radiator. The "vacuum juncion valve" in quesion is a pale yellow plastic cylinder shaped thing located on top of the radiator. What is this thing called and should it be clicking loud when brake peddle is applied??
