Oil leak causing ALT belt slippage - cause ?

Hello,
My 90T, which was rebuilt (trans. and oil seals, clutch, new HB, etc.) in early 2003, has an oil leak on the firewall (V-belt) end of the engine....resulting in an undercharging ALT (12.3VDC at the battery, and 12.5 VDC at the post on the ALT).
I would estimate the car only has 30K since the rebuild in early '03, so I don't want to believe the balancer end seal is leaking already....I did a running check back in June, climbing under the car while running(on ramps) and watching only a very slow drip coming from the HB crank seal. My question...is there any other oil leak point somewhere below the AC compressor which could be the source of this leak? I know the main seal at the HB is a pistol to replace, but I have already checked the PS hoses, and they also have only very small leaks. For certain the ALT belts are oiled, because even with good tension I can push the drive sheave of the ALT and make it slip under the belts. My voltmeter shows I am only getting 12.5 volts DC at the post on the alternator.
Thanks in advance for you thoughts/recs.
