Not a final solution, but years ago (sons in highschool/college) if it was just baggy, not a total disaster: Cut a decent slit in the center area of the droopy section. Use aerosol contact adhesive. Put top of can into the slit, then spray and rotate. Let it set a few minutes (3-4). Then from the outside to the inside firmly seat the headliner into the adhesive. Work on it a little and it was good for 3-4 years. Sounds like an interesting collection! Good luck!
