crankshaft pully spins freely

Car overheated…then died. I looked it over and noticed the pulley on the crankshaft was spinning freely. The outer part of the pulley that runs the AC moves with the crankshaft. I don’t know what to think. Do I need another pulley? Do I just need part of the pulley, or a woodruff key or… My manual isn’t too helpful in diagnosing this and I’m struggling to figure it out while I try to disassemble the crankshaft pulley. It’s all strange to me.
The interesting part of this story is I let my ex-wife borrow the car to help her find a job after her car died from a terminal transmission and she got fired, so it’s at her apartment and I’m going back and forth on my motorcycle with whatever tools I need on my back (never have everything I need). I’m trying not to have it towed because I just got “discharged” from my job and my funds are “excessively low.” Did I mention my stepdaughter’s boyfriend was then driving my ex-wife and stepdaughter around until the coils went out on his car? I’m afraid we are going to get ticketed for littering.
