'87 SPG Rear Sway Bay, will it fit a '90 SPG ?? Posted by Greg Abbott [Email] (#2746) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Greg Abbott) on Mon, 24 Sep 2007 13:25:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
As some of you may know, I acquired the remains of Taylor Welden's famous SPG, and am trying to bring it back to life.
The good news is, after some trouble-shooting I have it running again, with a donor motor and tranny from a rusty '89 convertible.
But interesting things keep cropping up, one of which is the absence of a rear sway bar. The previous owner (who bought the car from Taylor) parted out all the good parts, including the SAS rear sway bar.
I have a line on a rear sway bar from an '87 SPG which is being parted out.
Will the '87 rear sway bar fit on a '90 SPG?
Both I and the seller would like to know before we go through the hassle of shipping it.
Thanks in advance for the advice.
For those of you who are interested, here's the link to my Photobucket account with some picture of the resurrection project, including the trip towing it to Minneapolis from Savannah, Georgia.
