Major would be something like a transmission job. Moderate would be something like the heat shield (first time, begin by removing the console and passenger seat, then half of the front carpet...).
I can throw some pictures together to duplicate the function of the Bentley manual, but if you need those you'll need to wait for next weekend. Pretty much, as long as you are gentle and save all the fasteners from a donor car (tan leather or cloth, the surround piece will be the same) you should be able to put it back together yourself. I just wanted to be sure you didn't miss any of the fasteners and have to go back to the junkyard to find that the car is now gone. Also count yourself lucky that your car has the (1988 and) older knee bolster. The new one makes console extraction more complicated.
Yes, yes, my fingers get tired after a while and I have that AM-radio talk show host syndrome, except sometimes I enjoy the sound of my own typing, instead of the sound of my own voice. I guess.
