I'm sure defective parts could cause this, but the likelihood of you getting two defective parts in a row seems small(but possible). How is the condition of the fluid, did you flush the system before installing the new slave? Old contaminated fluid could cause the internal seals in the slave to fail prematurely. I'm sure that other people will chime in and help more then I did. Good luck!
