Rrear Tire almost rubs inner fender! Lrear is OK - ??? Posted by Jonathan Scupin [Email] (#428) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Jonathan Scupin) on Mon, 1 Oct 2007 21:39:09 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
So I was being kind to my baby ('88 900T) on Sunday, rotating tires and changing brake fluid (easy breezy w/MityVac!) and I noticed that when jacked up, my Right Rear tire rubs against the inner fender.
When I lowered the car, the body lowered enough and the tire doesn't rub, but there's only about 1/4" clearance. Scary!
On the left side, after lowering, there's about 1/2" clearance between tire and inner fender.
What gives? Any hypotheses? Is this a problem? Should I notice odd handling?
As always, thanks in advance,
Jonathan
