Get the Bougicords. They have shielding to keep RF interference from being picked up by the knock sensor cable and being interpreted as knock. You'll end up having low boost if you use generic cables, Bosch cables, etc. There's been s bit of talk about NGK cables, but nobody has tried them yet - could be good or could just be wasted money.

Your CE probably has a standard APC box, so boost close to the red, but not into it, is normal. Nothing to worry about (and your transmission will last longer when you don't go up into the red.)

6ES spark plugs are fine for your driving style.

Best thing to do is to get the tune-up parts from one of the site sponsors like eEuroparts.
