it brings back fond memories of when I was selling Saabs in the mid-eighties (in Boulder, CO). When I used to take people for test drives I would get up to about 50 on a two lane road, drop two tires onto the shoulder, take my hands off the wheel and slam on the brakes. Stopped straight as an arrow-it never failed to impress people. They also used to have samples and cross sections of the sheet metal they were build from. I really enjoyed selling cars based on engineering features rather than marketing ploys.
