ethical question: what does "box" mean

I'm looking for ethical advice from my fellow Saabers. I put an ad in the classified section of Saabnet for some 900 parts, including an SPG red APC box. I had a photo, which showed the "box", which was just the circuit board, not the plastic housing. I sold it and the buyer was very upset to discover that I had sent him only the circuit board, not the "box", meaning the plastic housing. Apart from the fact that the ad showed the board, not the housing, my common understanding of an "APC box" is the circuitry. When you buy an APC box from Swedish Dynamics (which I have done twice), you get the circuit boards, not the housing. My buyer is looking for a 50% refund, because he claims he only got half what he bargained for. I told him I'd give him a full refund if he mailed it back, but not a partial refund. What's your view?
