the hardest part i found about painting the edwardian gray is its metallic in the paint will want to separate in the cup of the gun. then when the pain is sprayed the separation of the metallic gets transferred to the car.
just a tip, if your going edwardian (which i do agree is one fantastic color)
once the catalyst is added to the paint stir and get it in the cup and spray it on as fast as possible. found if the mixed grey sits for over 5 minutes the metallic starts to separate.
i have a spot of separated metallic paint on the car (ill add a pic.)
i didnt notice it untill i was well into clearing the car.
if you use the edwardian everything must go on right, the paint can not be wet-sanded and then cleared.
what ever is wet sanded must be repainted.
a wet sand on the edwin will turn the color black.
its a great color when its done right and looks very nice.
going with a flat grey like will be less stress if something needs to be fixed and the process of painting can go as slow as you want.
(well my battery in my camera is dead, but im sure you know what separating of paint looks like.
but if you want to see the pic. let me know and ill take one tomorrow
