I mean if the issue is about mechanic or electric? You know most wires become VERY hard when it's -20C (darn... we've got -5-7C here in Msk for now). So they're easy to get broken cause of lost flexibility.

I've faced with such issue only once when gave a ride when it was raining (0C or so) and the next morning it dropped to -17C. That was a REAL MISSION just even to enter the car :)

So I assume that the issue is either in (semi)broken wires or an oldish grease.
