Austin, check that the hot cable from the Alternator that goes to the Starter is in excellent condition, and then the cable from the starter going to the battery is likewise in excellent condition. I've seen poor condition cables from alternator to starter cause repeated issues that were diagnosed as alternator issues, but turned out to be that eight inch cable from the alternator to the starg. Jumping the car would always work especially if you jump to the battery posts (which has a direct link to the starter), and then the car would run because the voltage required to start is much higher than that required to give a spark... but turn you headlights or stereo or run you power windows.... and no spark. The Alternator was doing it's thing, but nothing was getting back down stream to the battery and all of the running items on the Saab 900 tee of the hot cable at the battery end.
