If you are getting bars, but no sound, it may be a fuse. It could also be a disconnected harness behind the upper cage. To pull the upper cage, take the radio out. Then, bend down the upper lip of the cage at the center and bend up the bottom lip the same way. You should be able to pull the cage out then. There is a wire with a blue piece of tape on it. That goes to the rear amp. There are two large plastic connectors. One has foam on it. I believe that one is the power source for the units. The other one is the front speaker harness. The wires with the yellow and red tape on them are the cables which connect to the CD/Equalizer unit. The antenna could also be a fuse. I believe that the antenna fuse is in the fuse block under the rear seat. The amplifier for the radio is in the cage that the radio plugs into. There are two fuses in there that you should check. If you pull the radio, and look in the cage you'll see them back there. Additionally, the rear speakers have a seperate amplifier. That is also under the rear seat on the passenger's side. If you have the audio manual that came in the owner's packet with the car, it also has troubleshooting instructions.
