The first Saab we owned was a 1993 900T/auto convertible that we bought for my wife to replace her old Toyota Celica. We both fell in love with that car. It was her daily driver and was retired when things started to fail on it with around 230K on the odometer. I was a Mopar guy at the time and wasn't interested in fixing it. We replaced it with our first 94 Comm Ed. But my wife doesn't like the stick, so she never drove it. I got her a 2002 V70XC wagon which is her new love. A very smooth riding car. I picked her up at the airport the other night with my 1992 900T 3DHB (went to visit her Mom in FL). She said; "what did you pick me up in this for. this thing drives like a tank". Sigh... she's become victim to a luxury ride as opposed to a sporty ride. The thing I like best about the classic Saabs is that you can feel everything in those cars. You are one with the road. Don't get me wrong, I like driving the Volvo as much as her, it's just different. My 17 y-o son, on the other hand, would much rather drive his 1993 Comm Ed. That's my boy!!!
