see note above - our 84 foor door s non turbo was blusih grey as you describe and was clearcoated - so maybe it was an option
i had it repainted in 2000 (without clear coat) and then transferred the doors, sunroof and a few other items over to to the 86 900base silver model - the only two tone 900 in town....
