It's a question of where you want your power, the 2.1 N/A has higher compression and .1 litre more displacement and makes power down low for around town driving, whereas turbo 2.0 litre cars have lower compression and really lag at low rpm's such as off a stoplight, but make significantly more power in the top end for third gear or highway driving. Alot of folks tried to turbo charge a 2.1 litre car but due to its higher compression you just can't get more than about 5psi of boost before the engine predetonates. Sure the APC will kick boost down to prevent predet. knock but at 5psi you're not getting much out of a turbo. Normal 2.0 litre turbo cars with slight mods can achieve 20 psi of boost, now that's using the turbo! Supposedly the 2.1 litre engine moddified with a turbo and other goodies can make 200 horsepower tops.
