A semi sad day

I bit the bullet and purchased a 1981 Toyota Diesel BJ truck.
That means my 1988 TC (SiS) days are severely numbered.
I pay upwards of 5k a year in gas to go to work, and the greasecar idea just won out. I also have too many vehicles, and it is time to thin the herd.
I guess I will play with her for another month or so, and then I am out. I feel bad in a ways as I love her, but I also have my 1979 10th anniversary Trans Am, and it is time I fix her up. It is just dollars here. The T/A is worth 35k when fixed. The SiS might fetch 6k.
Some of you will be glad I am moving on, some of you have been good friends. Still, I have enjoyed and valued everyones opinions and help here. I even feel appreciative for all those who trusted me enough to let me help them.
I am undecided about my Sonetts as far as what I will do, but I think my 1968 Sonett II is also destined for the chopping block. The '74 might also go.
It is the way of life. The Hindu Monks teach us that property is unimportant as indeed we never really own anything. Perhaps, but then again sometimes we miss things that have become familiar.
Anyways, I just wanted to share, as this was a tough decision.
I will be lurking here for a while yet, but I still still feel sad knowing that the countdown has begun.
Best to all,
Chaz
