The fuel injected rabbits were around from at least 1976 to 1984. As long as it's a rabbit (square edges) not a golf (more rounded) it will work. This is pretty much going to have to be a junkyard item unless you can find a local (independent not dealer) garage that has one lying around. The lines are different lengths (depending on which cylinder the line went to) but you would probably be safe getting the longest one (cylinder number 1 if i remember my water-cooled VW engines).

The best scenario is likely a u-pull-it yard where you could get all 4 lines for maybe $25.
