First let me say that I am more guilty than most for hitting the smile peddle hard. You just have to be carefull on how you do it. First off NEVER hit full throttle in first gear. If the tires start spinning in first and then you shift into second it gives the tires a chance to get traction and then you hit second hard and the tranny blows in half. You can hurry through first and then shift into second and feed it the beans and continue on from there. Some people say that second is fragile as well, this may be true but i have not had any trouble YET. Always keep the car in good working condition. Never unplug the waste gate. Anyway, I don't want this to seem like a lecture cause like I said I do hotrod my saab and make no excuses for that. I just thought i would give you a few "rodding" tips. good luck with the change over.
