Last year I had to part with my 87 TC. (The understanding was, my wife and I would list our cars the same day and sell whichever one sold first. I listed mine, with pictures and excruciating detail, and it sold within 8 hours. Unfortunately for me, she had not even posted her car for sale by then). Anyway, we replaced it with a 95 9000, which has done great after some initial expense and aggravation. But she's been eyeing up my 9000 for herself (a convert!) and we sold her old car yesterday. I had looked around town for a 900, and tested one out but didn't get the good feeling from it. I saw one listed in a far away city though, contacted the seller, and had a good feeling about it. So today I took the train out to that place, saw the car, bought it and drove it home non-stop!
A sweet 91 TC, red with gray interior, great handling. The new stereo (I don't even have to do that initial work, it's all just been done) is the exact one I installed in our 9000 last summer. Sounds great! Wife drives the 9000, she's happy, I'm happy! It's good to be back! She says I can keep this one forever.
(I'm sure I'll be posting tons of stuff in the next few months, for starters, I forgot to test the horn and natch, it doesn't work ;)
