Colby, what convinces you that the chain must be replaced? Have you examined what makes this seem necessary? If you are experiencing noise, there are several other nearby potential causes of "timing chain rattle". I thought I needed to do the chain and/or the tensioner also, but discovered my noise source was the a/c idler pulley. My 89 SPG has 160,000 miles but the chain is silent and smooth. This forum directed me to examine water pump, alternator, a/c idler pulley, before worrying about the chain replacement. Voila, slicing off the a/c belt brought me complete satisfaction, as I found one very wobbly idler pulley.
