it worked great. Thanks Jonathan. The only weird thing was I had a used mirror from the same year and one had the "button" (thermostat?) on the inside of the mirror heating element and other did not. The other had what looked like a diode or resister between the two motors. They both are heated mirrors according to the symbol on the mirror. Weird...maybe someone glued a mirror with the symbol on it to a non-heated mirror-body.? '88 SPG
