Same here, snapped just before the cat. I was on my way to a job interview in a torrential downpour at the time. I pulled off the highway into a rest area, hung out the driver's door, and reached under the car with an umbrella handle to pull it out. I was dressed in a business suit and it was pouring so crawling under the car was not an option. I left the whole mess in the shoulder in the rest area. Just as I was pulling away, up comes a state trooper. He pulls me over and says; "you can't leave that there.". So, there I am in a business suit in a downpour trying to break the remains up enough to fit it all in my car. The upside; I got to drive an open-exhaust turbocharged NASCAR to the interview and I had a great story for the interview.
