Keep it if you really enjoy it! Posted by BAAB [Email] (#1214) [Profile/Gallery] (more from BAAB) on Sat, 2 Aug 2008 13:27:16 In Reply to: Decisions, Decisions. Fix or unload., MacFly, Sat, 2 Aug 2008 01:33:32 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Why not fix it and drive it for many more years? If you put all the money that would fix whatever the car needs toward purchasing another car, what kind of car could you buy? If you really enjoy the SAAB, and it's a solid car, my recommendation is to fix it up and enjoy! Our family of 4 drives 4 C900's (2 S's, a '93 Turbo CE, and my wife's '94 Turbo Convertible). My other cars are a '72 Saab 96 V4(my daily driver for the last year) and a '79 99 GL. Keeping all these cars in good running condition is still cheaper than one new car of any quality. I'm sure that being a Saab nut for many years has nothing to do with it :-)
