i've had my 1990 900 turbo, 4-door 5-spd manual, for a few months now. it replaced a '92 900 NA that unfortnuately crashed during an icestorm last winter

the turbo is a much smoother and capable engine, and gets 23 mpg combined compared to the 900NA which struggled to get 21mpg.

the car jerks at low speeds, like moving in traffic in 2nd gear. requiring a lot more clutch work to prevent the herky-jerky motion, than the 900NA did. is this a clutch thing or a tranny thing, or some mounting thing? this is not a problem, just never experienced it with the 92 non-turbo and was wondering what might cause the gear box to be jerky and uneven in traffic.

i just changed the tires from some cooper cobra 205s for bridgestone 195/60 after gettinga flat. wasnt happy with the cooper 205s, the front end didnt track very well around corners. is this an alignment or geometry thing?

also have a click/rattle sound when the steering is in full turn around parking lots, is that the drive shaft ?
