if the airbag has gone off in that car as a result of a crash.

Just an FYI.

The detonation of the airbag in the C900, and early 9000s (one airbag) is triggered by two things happening within a short period of time:

1) one or more front fender sensors are triggered (which takes a 17G impact)
and
2) the sensor in the ECU (orange box) is triggered (takes 2Gs about).

The sensors are not resettable.
