I wanted to place a portable DVD player on the dash, fits perfect in the recess, and hook it up to a good quality FM transmitter. Both would plug into a y connect which plugs into the cigarette lighter. The Monster transmitter, the FM stereo, & the portable DVD player would now be drawing current. With the car running, would it drain the battery? Would the alternator be able to charge the battery ok? Would reception from the transmitter interfere with the antenna on the hatch?
Alot of folks use the transmitter for thier MP3 player.
