new clutch, (plates and slave) new master cylinder (no leaking fluid), and heavy mods.
just been noticing, while im driving 75-80mph at a constant speed for over 5 min. or more when i go to punch the throttle to blast to 100+ i have noticed the rpms jump to 6000-7000 but i stay at the constant speed of 70-80mph.
(the rpm jump only lasts for the duration of the initial boost)
after the rpms come back down to meet 70-80 mph speeds if i punch it again the car then flies (rpms meeting its speeds)
strange as it may be, what im thinking is brake fluid. can decade old brake fluid cause this and if so exactly how.
any other suggestions of what might cause this is more then welcome
thanks
