I have my '90 SPG insured as a classic (it's listed in NADA as a classic collectible sports car...which helps) agreed value through American Family. Costs about $275 for 6 months. I did have to get an appraisal...which cost about $100 if I remember right. And these policies usually limit annual mileage. I'm limited to 6,000 or 7,000 miles...but in 6 months, that's a lot of driving. Just seems like classic car is the only way that you'll get what it's worth if someone slams into you at the light.
