I was born and raised in H-town but live in between San Antonio and Austin. I used to work at one of the Now Defunct Dealerships in Houston. I tried to take care of all customers the best I could but, for the most part, had my my hands tied as far as parts and labor cost goes. They had a very good (25years with Saab) Master Saab Mechanic. I unfortunately do not know where he went after the dealer closed.
Prestige off of hwy 290 and loop 610 (north west corner of loop 610) was very good and fair. I would go there first. He's jamacan but also has been servicing Saabs for a very long time... if he is still in business... also kind of hard to understand... very thick accent!

There are a few others... there is one in South Houston called Jack's I think... don't, I repeat, DO NOT, go there. Personal experience. When I bought my first Saab I got bent over... horrible.
there is another in central southwest part of town near montrose area... (everyone will know this part of town, Artsy, alternative lifestyle area) descent shop fair prices but cramped shop and somewhat long repair times.
drop me an email if you have any other questions about the area... my parents are still ther and of course I still have many friends there... I can answer any questions for you Saab or not!
