Thanks guys.
Let me clarify. The bumpers have been painted and look great. The issue is that the black deco trim (call it molding) on the sides now looks really bad because the rest of the car looks so nice.
Is it common to replace this when repainting? I mean I can clean the old up but the few new pieces I have collected so far look so much better I am thinking about taking the painters advice and spending the approximate $600 to replace it all.
The car is a 4 door but it suits my family well for fast dashes from Maryland to North Carolina or PA or Ohio. Size, speed, comfort are great and the relative rarity is a real plus.
