This is is a 1991 900 automatic. I pulled an engine and tran out of a 1990 because it was in an accident. We drove the car for six months after the accident. The engine was running, but gave us trouble at times. I had to wiggle the wires to get it to start. I had this 1991 sitting [it had a blown trans, so I pulled it and was waiting for a transplant]. I figured if it was a bad wiring harness that the other car would solve the problem. [ha] Keep in mind that the 1991 has been sitting for a year. You can look back the last few days to see what I've done. I traded out the jetronic today and it started, but stalled every time I gave it gas. I started it and let it run a for about a minute, turned it off and it wouldn't start again. It acts like someone put a potato up the tail pipe. Maybe a mouse nest. I have replaced everything I can think of. It has spark, it has gas, it will fire when I put carb cleaner in it. Where do I go from here. I'm about to think that the engine is possesed. I have another engine and I'm about to pull this one and replace it.
