ABS Master Cylinder / system replacement

The large ABS posting today/yesterday reminded me that my 90 SPG is currently in my garage with the entire ABS system removed (all lines, valve body, master cylinder, etc etc) & sitting on the floor. I think I've been trying to block it out of my brain. What a job.
I have 2 other known good ones -- from a 91 (with 120K) and from a 93 (240K) sitting there waiting to be installed. I'm going to go for the 91 unit since it has waay less miles and is sqeaky clean (no corrosion, rust, the car looked like it was never outside).
I have probably read every single last posting on this and other boards about these 90-94 900 ABS systems. I can say that ARI is the resource to read and if you keep reading here, you'll figure it out !
My problem was my main valve (I think) is faulty and that's the code I pulled. (ie my pump runs and runs but it doesnt pressurize in hot conditions, repeatable 100% of the time I get both brake lights and a very hard brake pedal). In the past 3 years I've replaced every single thing: pressure switch (2x), accumulator, relays, relays again, checked and cleaned all grounds, abs wheel sensor to front left wheel, flushed and bled 2x. I was at wits end so am replacing the whole thing... we'll see. Stay tuned.
The car's still apart since I decided to do the alternator bushings while I"m at it and am waiting on bushing parts to put it all back together. Will keep you all posted.
