Taking out injectors on my '93 900T. Injectors came out ok, but noticed one of the plastic tips (orange in color) fell off and into the hole where the injectors go!!! Tried to suck it out with 3.5 HP wet vac with atachment to get good seal. It didn't work. I can see it with a flashlite. Tried small 6" tweezer like forseps but couldn't reach all the way in and still get the flashlight to see it, so that didn't work. Since it's plastic, a magnet won't help. What else can I do??? Do autoparts stores sell an implement that is long and skinny enough to fit all the way in there to grap onto it? Any other methods? What if I ignore it and just reinstall everything? I'm sure it'd get sucked further into the engine then, right, that can't be good. TIA for all your ideas. By the way, is the injector ruined now or will it still work w/out the plastic tip? If I get the plastic tip out could I get it back on the injector?
