I would do the same thing as mentioned above especially removing the plugs & unplugging the coil to allow the engine to spin freely until good oil pressure built up. Your problem will be the old fuel, I just started my 99 after 2 years and ran out the little bit of old gasoline that was still in the car, when I got the new fuel into the car everything smoothed out. More cautious people would drain the tank and pun in new gasoline.
