I forgot to mention that when I went over a bump the radio would revert to normal. So I just went looking around batt. terminals and ground points. I cleaned batt. post connections, and went to the alternator to check the ground. While I was checking the alt. ground I noticed that I had knocked off the little wire that goes to the alternator, it came out of its connector rather easily, so I put a new connector on and it seems like the problem has gone away. I have not taken it out for an extended drive, but the radio noise is gone, although the idle does drop a little when I put the brakes on. Does this seem right? Thanks for any input I really hate these little niggly problems....
