You can adjust the angle with shims. I am 6'3" and drive with the seat all the way back. While I have never been uncomfortable with the wheel's position, I also have long arms. The angle of the wheel tilt can be customized using washers to shim up the front two of the 4 bolts holding the column in place. You might need to purchase a couple of longer bolts to get it where you want it. While I've never done this on my Saab, I did this trick on a fiat spyder I once owned. Works great.
