Hello, Fellow Saabers,

Perhaps you can help me with this intermittent sound from my 90 SPG. At times--not all the time--I hear what seems like a worn or sqeaking bearing sound coming from the front of the motor, around the clutch area, towards the radiator. I'm a bit befuddled because I don't see anything external to the motor that seems to be the source of the noise--I am shuddering to think it is inside of things--could I be wrong? One thing I have noticed is that I do not hear the sound when I initiatly get out of the car after a trip and leave it idling, but only after I let it idle for a 5-10 minute period.

Have checked all fliud levels, and all OK. Engine is excpetionally clean, have not noticing any leaks and car runs exceptionally well, no misfirng, etc. Checked/re-lubbed all bearings in the items at the back of motor (towards firewall)--A/C condensor, alternator, etc. just in case I was getting confused as to source of this sound--no change.

Any ideas much appreciated,
