'87 900T, which I've had for 15 years & has been routinely & well maintained by Atlanta-area Saab indy--------just began (2 weeks ago) to exhibit WEIRD idle. Car runs flawlessly any time of night or day, BUT on any day or night when moisture has been present (rain, fog, condensation from extreme outside temperature differces, etc) when car is initially started it runs so roughly that you don't want to drive it. Sometimes this subsides in 3-4 minutes, sometimes not. If you start it 5 hours later (say later in the day, or after the sun has "heated" everything up, it's fine, runs flawlessly & exhibits none of these problems. I've checked my records: relatively new fuel filter, plugs, dist. cap & fuel pump & pre-pump. I'm now located 6 hours away from my trusty Saab mechanic, so I'm on my own for the time being. I'm assumming "moisture" is somehow the problem, but as it has NEVER acted this way, I'm just checking for recommendations before I tear into it next weekend & start replacing parts.
