I am restoring a 1985 turbo; A/C is next.
I am also retiring a 1993 900S which has an A/C system I rebuilt about two years ago. I plan to move the nearly new compressor, condensor and some of the hoses. I used antiseize on the fittings and think I can get the lines off. But maybe not.
Questions: do the hoses and lines from the 1993 fit the 1985? Assuming I break at least one of them what then? It seams that only the hoses from the compressor and from the expansion valve to the evaporator are available. I am pretty certain I can get the hoses fabricated but who would make up the hard lines?
