I would drain the tranny when the fluid is warm after a stint of driving. This will facilitate the flow out. Add whichever fluid you prefer. My preference is the Red Line MTL. It is a synthetic & will mix with whatever fluid remains. I purchase it on-line from their website. You may want to do a search as there are other companies which stock it. Drive the car & see if the noises settle down then change it again maybe after 5k. Hope this helps & good luck!
