It would be a very very tight job with the engine in. If your changing the chain because of rattling at idle, check the chain guide rubbing block underneath the valve cover. This item gets old and hard and transmits chain rattle. If you chain guides are worn, good luck changing with engine in the car. There's also a roll-in chain that can be done if chain is stretched.
