Hello all, and thanks in advance for any insights.

I am experiencing a problem where I have a rythmic thump coming from what I believe is the d/s front. this thump varies in frequency with road speed, and not engine RPM. Have recently replaced both front axles with empi remans, also did wheel bearing on pass side front. Noise was present before axle replacement, however has been getting progressively worse lately. Vehicle has new ball joints and tie rod ends, and new tires. Alignment is off somewhat, however I do not feel like that would cause this type of noise.

As far as diagnostic work goes, I have run the car on a lift, and the noise persists, and if anything is more noticeable.
I have no side to side movement of the axles, (Is this a problem)
When I had it in the air I did not check the innner drivers for any noticeable play. (doh)
The wheels do not exhibit any play up/down or side to side with the suspension loaded or unloaded.

Right now I am leaning towards inner drivers, or a possible d/s front wheel bearing, Any opinions or past experiences are welcome!

P.S. If anyone in the d.c. area needs a lift I have just installed one at home, and am open to letting other saabers use it when time permits
