I took the exhaust manifold / turbo off with the head and just disconnected the 3 bolts at the flange.
Not that bad putting it back on but remember to jack up the motor on the right side first, otherwise the motor mount bracket at the power steering pump won't clear (motor drops just enough that the top of the bracket won't clear the head).
