Since it clicks, probably not an ignition key issue. Nevertheless, maybe a good time to clean up whatever has been flowwing down that way. pour small amounts of rubbing alcohol down the key hole, wait 5 minutes and turn the key back and forth a bit. Do it several times. Don't forget to blow it with a hair dryer as oldsaab suggested.
Now, for the no-start, two possibilities:
1. Weak battery, which does not have the strength to engage the solenoid.
2. Check the wiring at the starter, clean it up if necessary.
