I had the same problem with one of my 900's years ago. I drilled out the bleed nipple from the top and unplugged the small hole that is at the other end so fluid can flow through it. (All the while plugging the hole in the caliper with a paper towel). Any parts store should have replacement rubber cap. I put a small smear of grease in the top of the nipple before putting the rubber cap on to prevent moisture from getting in the hole. I also put plumbers tape (PTFE) on the threads of the bleed nipple to prevent them from rusting in place. If you leave the cap off the brake resevoir, the fluid will purge any air that was sucked in. Just top off the fluid after. HTH.
