Just a friendly request for everyone to pray to whatever god they believe in to say a prayer for me tonight. Tomorrow morning I am going to rip the fusebox out of my 1980 900T 5-door and replace it with a fusebox from a 1986 900T. I've mapped out (I hope) the "152" connectors at the firewall, and it seems to be a very close match. A couple of pins have to move on the car, but really just a couple. I'm hoping/praying it really is as easy as it appears, and tomorrow I'm gonna give it a try.

1986 was the last year of the snub nosed cars, and I don't want to hack up the front of a later harness. '86 is also the first year of engine-bay-mounted APC. It seems to be the perfect candidate. The car has been running Hall-Effect ignition, LH 2.4, and APC for several years now (almost a decade!) without a problem, but I'm tired of dumb ceramic fuses, the hacked up wiring, and some of the relays are getting so old they're conduction less than 12v. I'm hoping this fixes all of these issues without introducing more.
